What we work with.........

Wood and traditional techniques are fine but we love experimentation so you will find polyurethane and epoxy composite carbon fibre frames hand laid in open molds, single species veneers and a combination of the lot.

Drums built for acoustic work, drums built solely for miked performance and drums that will be unplayable except for that one musician that can coax magic from it.

One of my greatest joys was to have a drum commented on by a foreign maker as a “joke”, “am I missing something”, “I can't play it!!” he remarked!!! .......YES, he was missing something—Everything, in fact---the drum, pure carbon fibre with a well worked calf skin head, was built and is played by one of Irelands most accomplished young musicians-------it was an Archangel Custom Built One-Off
